FoodFilm

FoodFilm are the directors behind a mini-revolution in photography and filmmaking which gave us the hugely original and successful Adventures in food for M&S. Their work is all about the colours, the textures, the dynamism, and an aesthetic that can be found within everything if you look hard enough!

They have increasingly used these skills to craft distinctive, beautiful and visual metaphors for everything food and drink, alongside more abstract products, such as Neutrogena, L’Oréal & Garnier.

Coming from differing backgrounds; Michael Roulier from the high-end photographic world, and Philippe Lhomme as an agency creative director, they understand client goals, and are able to guide clients on a reassuring path which pushes creative boundaries and creates original, exciting and rewarding films.

Recently, starting with a blank sheet of paper from a brave and pioneering client they were enabled to make 3 films for Gran Cereale, allowing for the creation of images that portray the products and cast in a way that a “normal storyboarded film” wouldn’t.

They are constantly re-inventing themselves with each new film - you think you know the FoodFilm work and then they go and surprise you all over again with something new!

They are passionate at embracing new technology: - not only in the physical world of cameras and rigs, but the infinite world that AI software is presenting at the moment.  With this in mind, they are currently developing new ways to utilise it as a tool to create ever more imaginative films. It is what keeps them active, and now in joining the collective of directors and creators at Bite, they have found a home of like-minded curious folk, all looking to push the boundaries for the increasingly savvy and hungry content viewers!
