Franco Dupuy is a director and photographer born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a passion for fashion, urban culture, and music.
After being awarded a grant to finish his studies at La Femis, Paris, Franco realized that fashion was going to be part of his work for life. His fashion films have been twice premiered at the BAIFFF, The Buenos Aires Fashion Film Festival, Nowness and Vice. He has collaborated with fashion houses like Off-White, Comme Des Garcon, Undercover, Marine Serre among others, especially during Fashion Weeks.
When talking about his commercial work, his aesthetic is young and vivid, sometimes ironic, with a strong visual style. His work clearly reflects his knowledge on photography, light, and young and emerging culture.
His craft lies on turning projects into cool and young stories, always trying to understand trends and popular culture. That’s the case of his latest commercial for BAYER (showcased here on Source Creative as well). No one was expecting an ‘cinematic acid trip’ for them, but it worked!
