In love with every detail, Gina Medina enjoys immersing herself in the aesthetics, narrative and casting direction of each project. Her pieces have a unique look and an authentic signature.  

Gina is a Colombian-Spanish director and actress. She studied filmmaking in Bogotá and in 2010 she moved to Barcelona where she did a master’s in Filmmaking at the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya, ESCAC. Also, in Spain she studied Acting at Nancy Tuñon and Jordi Oliver School; nowadays her experience as a theatre actress enriches her process of directing.

Her path in advertisement has allowed her to work  for different brands, imprinting naturalness, everyday life, and humour. Her work has been recognised in different advertising festivals such as El Dorado and El Ojo de Iberoamérica. In 2021 she directed the series "La Azcárate De Frente", a format produced for Netflix.
