Justin Casselle is a commercial director based in Los Angeles via Chicago, IL. Most recently, he’s directed the historic brand re-launch of Pearl Milling Company, formerly the famed Aunt Jemima brand. Directing actors, framing the scene, and creating communally are all things Casselle looks forward to behind the camera, especially when those working alongside him feel equity and representation in front of the camera. Casselle has directed multiple short films, digital series, and sketches in the comedy genre ranging from dark comedies, dramedies, and rom-coms that have been official selections of the Austin Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, Urban world Film Festival and many more. Formerly, a Creative Producer for various legacy advertising agencies such as DDB, FCB, and Deutsch, Casselle was a participating finalist in the 2021 class for the Commercial Director’s Diversity Program through the Director’s Guild. A fan of a healthy craft service budget,Casselle prefers his film sets to be inclusive of all genders, cultures, and snacks.
