Thomas Schauer has established himself as a world-renowned culinary director/DP and photographer, shooting extensive campaigns for over two decades between Vienna, New York, and Los Angeles. Growing up in his native Austria, Thomas cultivated an artistic sensibility inspired by the European culture surrounding him. 

Thomas went on to obtain a master’s certificate in photography at Austria's most prestigious photography school. His deep knowledge and passion for food led to work with Kroger, Nespresso, Pepsi, Budweiser, Panera, Carl’s Jr, Burger King, Kellogg’s, Heinz, Patron, and many more.

In addition to global exhibitions of his work and numerous international awards, he has collaborated on over 20 cookbooks for celebrated chefs including Dominique Ansel, Daniel Boulud, David Bouley, and most recently Jose Andres.

Thomas Schauer and Tim Case own and operate Taste with offices in Vienna, New York and Los Angeles.
