Born in Caracas, Venezuela and raised in the Canary Islandas, Valentino R. Sandoli is a half Canarian, half Italian award winning director. He graduated in Media Studies at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where he wrote and directed “Paradigma” (2016) as his thesis film. It premiered at the Amsterdam International LGBTQ Film Festival and was selected in over 30 film festivals around the world, highlighting the London BFI Flare, the Toronto Inside Out and the LesGaiCineMad in Madrid.

In 2020, he shoots “Cruising”, a fashion film that premieres in exclusivity for Fucking Young! Magazine, which won the gold medal at the 1.4 Awards in 2021 for Fashion Film. It was shortlisted in many festivals an awards, including the Berlin Commercial, Berlin Fashion Film Festival, Aesthetica Short Film Festival, BAIFFF, etc. In 2021, his film for Journal Moon, "Transición" is premiered at Director's Library and high-scored at the Shiny Awards.

He is currently developing his first feature film aswell as other short film projects, while he continues with his commercial work in advertising, where he has just got signed in Spain by Garlic. He's currently unsigned for other markets.
