Victoria Granof

Ahhh the extraordinarily gifted superstar Victoria Granof.

Included among Cherry Bombe’s 100 Most Inspiring Women in Food, Victoria began her career as a Cordon Bleu-trained chef with a degree in Visual Arts. A chance meeting (actually, a blind date) with a food photographer shifted her focus to food media and she cast an off-piste path as a food stylist through what had been a rather staid and conventional-looking food photography scene.

This led to a decade-long collaboration with the late Irving Penn, and then in turn to creative direction and food styling, making wildly clever and meaningful imagery, concepts, and food art and design for advertising, editorial and indie brand clients.

Always seeking to expand her vision – and a collaborator at heart - directing was the natural next step. Victoria is a natural wit who adores color, a good beat and cheeky sophistication with a dash of surrealism. She is a gifted and engaging storyteller, even before storytelling was a thing, and has sprinkled her stardust on spots for Impossible Foods, Campbell’s and Café Bustelo, for a start.
